In a move that was long overdue, Nicole moved to London just a little short of a year ago. Living in a ramshackle house in the East End and writing as much as she could for free, she somehow made her way through a masters degree in newspaper journalism. Since then she has joined the growing number of freelancers borne out of the credit crunch. She now writes for the Observer Review, Sunday Telegraph, various blogs and regional papers. Nicole has too much time on her hands and spends it pottering around on her bike (although she’s quite unstable) drinking red wine, rummaging through smelly clothes and eating hummus in the park.
