Comedy at Herman ze German

Looking for something meaty to start your week?

German sausage eatery, Herman ze German, is serving up its usual fare of German food and beer with a side order of laughs in its new series of comedy nights every Monday until 16 December.

These special ‘Work in Progress’ shows will offer some of the finest comedy talents an opportunity to test new material ahead of their appearances on Channel 4’s series Stand Up for the Week. Keeping it intimate in their 65-seater performance space in the basement of their Old Compton Street home, this is a rare chance to get up close and personal to some of the comedy circuit’s greats – and all for just £5.

Fresh from recording their DVD at Hammersmith Apollo, Josh Widdicome and Seann Walsh will take to the stage along with the quick-witted Simon Evans, Stand Up for the Week host Paul Chowdhry and Romesh Ranganathan and Angela Barnes.

Critically acclaimed Alan Carr will also be entertaining the sausage loving public in a series of just announced shows on Tuesday 3 and 10 December as he tries out some brand new material ahead of his upcoming tour.

With a selection of bratwursts, bockwursts, currywursts and meatballs also on the menu, Herman ze German looks like the tastiest option for your Monday (and Tuesday) evenings. Just don’t expect tickets to stick around for long…

Tickets are available from Laughing Boy Comedy Club and View London.

Performances will take place on Monday 25 November and Monday 2, 9 and 16 December 2013 at:
