Autumn Trendwatch

Only those wearing blindfolds whilst sitting in a soundproof booth (àl a Saturday night quiz shows) can have failed to notice that right now, the whole bloody world’s gone mad for fantasy.

Television is giving us the Vampire-ridden True Blood; the cinema boasts goblins, dwarfs, time-travel and god-knows-what with The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus. The ethereal Florence and her Machine continue to run riot on the hit parade, and fashion is most definitely following suit.

September’s London Fashion Week saw the catwalks awash with Gothic-inspired, leather-clad models, and even Agy plumped for the trend, trading in her trademark blonde crop for a black vampy bob.

But if leather dresses, spiderweb tights and black lipstick aren’t really your thing, why not opt for the softer side of fairytale and go good fairy? These perfectly cute collared tops are not only bang on-trend, but completely organic, too.

They’re available at Beaumont Organic, a lovely online emporium offering beautiful, 100% organic cotton jersey items at weirdly reasonable prices. Created by Hannah Nicole Beaumont, a London-trained designer who opted to leave the capital’s high-octane fashion world behind for a more ethical approach, the site is currently offering the Fairytale tops from just £13.75 due to a very generous sale.

It’s enough to make you live happily ever after.
