The chaps over at Beefeater, the only international gin brand to still have a distillery in London (in Kennington), have launched a new limited edition bottle. This new campaign, called #MyLondon, was created by seeking inspiration from what they refer to as ‘real Londoners’ as well as the talented bunch of art and design students over at Central Saint Martins College.
You may recall from our previous coverage, the campaign to create this London inspired bottle kicked off last November and saw thousands of images being submitted. These were then put forward to a panel of judges who then selected their choice of thousands of images which are now featured on the limited edition bottle. There was also a giant laser-projected show of the photos in Covent Garden.
In addition to the images used for the bottle, the photography connoisseurs at Central St Martins college also picked 20 winning images which you can check out by visiting the Beefeater #MyLondon Facebook page.
Beefeater has also produced a video which showcases some of the winners, their photos as well as coverage of the laser projection show from Covent Garden. You can check out that video below:
The launch of this limited edition bottle coincides with the announcement that Beefeater will become the first London gin distillery to open a visitor centre. The visitor centre is due to open later in 2013.
You can find out all about this campaign, as well as Beefeater Gin, via the company’s dedicated Facebook page.
