This brand-new app allows you to ‘geek up’ the way you do your social networking while on the move.

How does it do that?

The free app, which is available on Windows, Android and iOS phones, allows you to view your Twitter and Facebook feeds in the style of the movie’s famous opening title scene. Come on, you know the one – a dark black screen, yellow text scrolling text, ‘A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away…’ and all that!

After you’ve installed the app on your smartphone, you simply sync it with your Facebook and Twitter accounts to aggregate all your social media streams in to one place. You can also discover more about the full game (more on that in a minute!) and even purchase a copy directly from within the app.

Yup… the app has been launched to mark the release of the Kinect Star Wars game for the XBox 360 which uses the Kinect’s famous controller-free technology to let you fight like a Jedi (and without fear of throwing the controller through the TV!). The game offers fans a series of immersive mini games and features five dynamic modes: Jedi Destiny: Dark Side Rising, Podracing, Rancor Rampage, Galactic Dance Off and Duels of Fate. The game retails for £39.99.
