However, travelling zoo's and private collections most certainly can explain this. My upcoming book MYSTERY ANIMALS OF KENT explains all this and also covers many strange creatures sighted throughout London's history. Indeed. I met the family in Bodmin whom claim their parents to have released three panthers into the wild back in the mid seventies..
